Privacy Policy
The short version. You can read getblowzer.com without an account and without giving us your name or email.
We measure which ads and links bring visitors and whether they click a Buy button. We do not sell your personal information.
You buy the BLOWZER X6 from Amazon or sabrent.com, not on this site. Their own privacy policies cover the purchase.
Who we are
BLOWZER is a Sabrent product. Sabrent operates getblowzer.com, the community site community.getblowzer.com and the staff tool BLOWZER Admin at admin.getblowzer.com. "We" and "us" in this policy mean Sabrent.
Privacy questions: privacy@sabrent.com, or by mail at Sabrent, Privacy Department, 405 Science Dr, Moorpark, CA 93021, United States.
What this website collects
Things you do not have to give us
This site has no sign-up, no contact form and no checkout. We do not ask for your name, email, address or payment details here.
Technical data
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes each request. That includes your IP address, browser type and the page requested. We use this to deliver the site and keep it secure.
- Which link brought you. When you arrive through one of our ads or short links, the link carries a short source label, for example the name of the ad. Your browser keeps that label in its local storage for 30 days, and our Buy buttons pass it along so we know which ad led to a click.
- Click counts. Our short links, such as
/buyand/shop, count how many times each source was clicked per day. These are totals. They are not tied to a person. - Your settings. A few display choices you make on the site are stored in your browser only.
Advertising measurement and cookies
We advertise the BLOWZER X6 on other services. To see whether those ads work, this site loads measurement code from the advertising partners below. It reports that a page was viewed and that a Buy button was clicked. It does not report what you bought or how much you paid.
| Partner | What it stores in your browser | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| OpenAI (ChatGPT Ads) | Cookies __oppref (30 days) and __obref (1 year) | Links a visit and a Buy click to the ChatGPT ad that led to it |
| Google Ads | Google's click identifier from the ad link, kept in a cookie such as _gcl_aw (up to 90 days) | Links a visit and a Buy click to the Google or YouTube ad that led to it |
| Amazon Attribution | Nothing on this site. Our link to Amazon carries a campaign tag | Tells us, in total, how many Amazon visits and orders came from our links |
These partners act under their own privacy policies and may combine this information with what they already know about you. Some laws call this kind of ad measurement "sharing" of personal information.
Your choice. The site works fully without these cookies. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, use a content blocker, or use your browser's private mode. You can also manage ad personalisation in your Google and OpenAI account settings.
When you buy
Our Buy buttons take you to Amazon or to sabrent.com. The order, payment and delivery happen there, under that store's privacy policy. If you buy on sabrent.com after arriving from this site, the source label described above is saved with your order so we can tell which ad or link led to the sale.
Challenges and product registration
If you enter a BLOWZER challenge or register your product on community.getblowzer.com, we collect what you give us there:
- Challenge entries: your email, the name you want shown, the link to your post or the video you upload, where you used the product, an optional caption, and your consent choices.
- Product registration: your email, name, order number, purchase date and store, an optional serial number, and whether you want news from us.
We use it to review entries, send rewards, run the warranty, and email you about your entry or registration. We show your video publicly only if you agreed to that. We send news only if you opted in, and every such email lets you opt out. The full notice for that site is at community.getblowzer.com/privacy.
BLOWZER Admin and Google user data
BLOWZER Admin is an internal tool for Sabrent staff. It is not offered to the public. If you are a staff member and sign in with Google, or connect a Google Ads account, this section applies to you.
- What we access. With Sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier. With your permission the tool also reads and manages data in our own Google Ads and Google Search Console accounts, such as campaigns, ads, keywords, budgets and performance reports.
- How we use it. Only to confirm that you are an authorised staff member, to show our advertising and search results in our reports, and to make the changes to our own campaigns that a staff member approves.
- How we store it. On systems we control in the United States, with access limited to authorised staff.
- Who we share it with. No one, apart from the service providers that host the tool for us, or where the law requires it. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models.
- Deletion. A staff member can ask for their account and its data to be removed by writing to privacy@sabrent.com. Access can also be removed at any time in the Google Account's security settings.
The tool's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Who receives information
- Service providers that run our sites for us: Cloudflare (network, security checks, email delivery, video storage) and Fly.io (hosting and database for the community site and the staff tool), and our rewards provider for gift cards and prizes.
- Advertising partners listed above, for ad measurement.
- Retailers you choose to visit through our links.
- Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
How long we keep it
Cookies and stored labels expire on the schedule shown above. We keep challenge entries, registrations and related emails for as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them for, including the warranty period, and as long as the law requires for tax and accounting records. After that we delete them or remove what identifies you.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw a consent you gave. Write to privacy@sabrent.com. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
California residents have the rights set out in the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete and correct, and the right to opt out of the sharing of personal information for advertising. To opt out, use the browser controls described under "Advertising measurement and cookies", or write to us.
Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland also have the right to object to or restrict processing, the right to data portability, and the right to complain to their data protection authority. We rely on consent for advertising cookies where the law requires it, on our legitimate interest in running and securing the site, and on performing our agreement with you for challenges and warranty registration.
Children
This site is for adults. Challenges are open to people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Where information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our providers process information there and in other countries where they operate. If you visit from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to the United States.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
